Privacy Policy
The short version: the conversion tools render your text in your browser. Loading the site also makes requests to hosting, font and analytics services. The rest of this page explains that in detail, plus the small set of third-party services involved in simply loading the site.
Data You Type Into the Tools
All conversion — cursive font previews, Unicode text mapping, worksheet rendering, PNG export — is performed by JavaScript running on your own device. The conversion code does not include a tool-text upload request. The network requests for fonts and analytics are separate from the text being converted. The homepage’s “Make name cards” and “Make a practice sheet” actions briefly place your text in session storage for this browser tab. The receiving tool reads and removes it; closing the tab also clears it. This transfer does not put the tool text in a page URL.
Cookies and Analytics
Plausible Analytics is active at analytics.lingyi.systems. The configured tracker sends page addresses, referrers and engagement measurements, and enables outbound-link and eligible file-link click events.
These link events can include the destination URL; they do not include the contents of a downloaded file. The tracker does not read the text fields in our tools or set cookies or persistent browser identifiers. It does not automatically track contact-form submissions, and generated PNG downloads are not counted as file-link events by this configuration.
Analytics requests also expose normal request metadata, such as an IP address and browser headers, to the analytics host. See Plausible’s data policy for the software’s data model; hosting and retention depend on the configuration of this installation.
Third-Party Services That Load With the Page
- Google Fonts — the cursive typefaces are served from Google's font CDN. Like any web request, loading fonts exposes your IP address and browser user-agent to Google. See Google's privacy policy.
- Hosting (Vercel) — our hosting provider receives your IP address, requested page URL and browser headers when serving a page.
- Contact form (FormSubmit) — if you use the contact form, your name, email and message are processed by FormSubmit and delivered to us by email. We use this information only to reply to you.
What We Do Not Do
- No account or registration, so no stored credentials.
- No sale or sharing of personal data with data brokers.
- No advertising trackers embedded in tool behaviour (any future ad units will be disclosed here before they ship).
Children
The worksheet generator is designed to be used by parents and teachers, including for children's practice text. The worksheet code renders that text locally. Loading the page still uses the hosting, font and analytics services described above. Avoid putting sensitive personal information in a contact-form message.
